Little Candy Cane Thieves

I got an interesting idea for a drawing of the black "give away" mare (the 2nd from left) back when the give away was still open. I tried to win her for a very good friend of mine and was going to draw a pic of this mare. However I was too busy for that before the results and ended up not winning (I'm very happy for Jay who won the gorgeous mare <3 ). I decided to draw her anyway - and why not to draw the other Candy Cane starters? Here is the result. :3 The Little Candy Cane Thieves. +Memo whose candy canes they stole. XD

I know it's not Christmas anymore and I'm super late with this but... Just couldn't pass this idea... QAQ And I just love drawing snowy backgrounds since we don't have any snow (yet) here in the most southest parts of Finland (this winter has been a freaking weird one so far!). I finished the drawing this late also because of a flu... Getting better little by little, but damn haven't felt like drawing for daaaaays...

Ended up being a lazy-ass and not shade the ponies... Also I just don't like shading black/very dark horses on my iMac since all dark colors look black on the screen, so it's pretty difficult to make a good shading... Aaaaanyways, I hope you like it!
